qHD

qHD (960×540), often called “Quarter HD,” is a 16:9 widescreen resolution that offers a strong balance between visual clarity and system efficiency. With roughly one quarter of the pixel count of Full HD and about half of 720p, it reduces GPU workload, memory bandwidth, and video processing demands while still keeping UI text and icons comfortably readable on small to mid-size screens. This makes qHD a practical choice when power, cost, and stable performance matter as much as sharpness.
