With a 240 × 536 resolution and 16.7M colors (RGB 8-bit), it renders clean text, icons, and interface elements at 307 PPI, ensuring a refined look on small screens.

Designed for efficient integration, this panel supports a MIPI (1 lane) interface and runs at a typical 60 Hz refresh rate, with an idle mode down to 15 Hz for power-aware operation. It provides 350 cd/m² (typ.) luminance (Br0, θ=0°) and an ALL-angle viewing specification (θ 0°–88°, φ 0°–360°), helping maintain consistent readability from different angles. With a 44.22 × 19.80 mm active area in an ultra-thin 51.32 × 22.40 × 0.753 mm outline, it fits space-limited designs that prioritize thickness control. The module uses a 51-pin BTB connector (0.4 mm pitch) and is rated for -30 to +70°C operating and -30 to +80°C storage temperatures.

To simplify prototyping and evaluation, Gesight provides an HDMI controller board that drives the E191AM8M0 through a stable HDMI-to-MIPI conversion path, letting you verify panel performance without writing display drivers from scratch. Connect an HDMI video source (PC / media player / test equipment), supply power, and you can quickly bring up the panel for image quality checks, refresh behavior validation, and long-run stability tests.

The board is ideal for early-stage development when you need a fast, repeatable setup for demo builds, firmware bring-up, and production line inspection. It also helps teams shorten the debug loop by providing a known-good signal chain, making it easier to focus on system integration and UI tuning rather than interface troubleshooting.

For most electronics engineers, our specifications are enough to run the display, and we will provide some assistance.
But Gesight Display is not a school, if customers don`t know the basic knowledge to design circuit boards, we suggest using our controller board to drive the display.

First, you need to check whether this display has On-cell or In-cell touch panel, if has, it only needs to add a cover glass on it. If not, it needs an external touch panel.
(On-cell and In-cell are integrated PCAP touch panels on the display screen)
Because the shape of the cover glass depends on the design of the clients, to avoid infringement of appearance,  most of the developers need different customized touch panels.
Gesight Display can provide a customized touch screen with a low cost of tooling charge.

1. UPS/Fedex/DHL/TNT, the best choice for most clients, 3~7 days to arrive.
2. Aliexpress standard ship, this way is cheap and slow, usually take more than 10 days. Only for samples.
3. For Russian clients, EMS or Aliexpress shipment is better.
4. Any designated logistics are acceptable
 

Most display panels are from giant manufacturers such as BOE, Sharp, LG, EDO, AUO, etc. They have already tested with strict standards.
For OEM products from Panox Display factory, please check the quality test standards.   

The lifetime is different on different images, check the lifetime on datasheet to study it. 

If your Raspberry Pi can support the interface of the display panel, and you know how to program on Raspberry Pi, you can connect to our display.
If you don`t know or don`t want to write a display program on Raspberry Pi, it`s better to get an HDMI controller board from us, and Panox Display will send a config.txt file for reference.
