The 5.551-inch AMOLED Display delivers sharp HD visuals in a slim 9:16 portrait format, featuring a 720 × 1280 resolution and 8-bit color (16.7M) for clean UI rendering and smooth gradients. With a 32 × 96 μm pixel pitch and about 265 PPI (calculated), it supports crisp text edges and fine interface details in compact devices. Typical brightness reaches 300 cd/m², making it well-suited for everyday indoor and controlled-light environments.

The module uses a MIPI (4-lane) interface and operates as an AMOLED panel for strong contrast and deep blacks. Viewing performance is rated 80°/80°/80°/80° (U/D/L/R, CR ≥ 200) for stable readability across common viewing positions. It integrates the SH1386 driver IC, and the mechanical design stays ultra-slim with a 131.20 × 72.80 × 1.181 mm outline (w/o cushion) and a 122.88 × 69.12 mm active area. Gesight supplies this module for dependable real-world use with a -30 to +70°C operating range and -30 to +70°C storage range.

For fast prototyping and stable video bring-up, the 555HDC2 HDMI controller board provides a practical bridge from common HDMI sources to the module’s MIPI (4-lane) interface. It’s ideal for demo setups, lab validation, and early-stage firmware/UI tuning—so you can focus on image quality and system integration without building a custom mainboard from day one.

Designed for dependable operation, the board supports clean signal routing and reliable power delivery for the AMOLED module, making it easier to verify color performance, brightness, and viewing consistency in real hardware. The 555HDC2 AMOLED delivers punchy color and high perceived contrast, making UI elements and media content look clean and saturated even in a compact form factor. With 16.7M colors (8-bit) and a fine pixel structure, it produces smooth gradients and sharp edges for icons, text, and detailed graphics.

To keep the image stable from different positions, the panel supports a wide viewing characteristic of 80°/80°/80°/80° (U/D/L/R, CR ≥ 200), helping reduce color shift and brightness drop-off in typical handheld use. For most electronics engineers, our specifications are enough to run the display, and we will provide some assistance.
But Gesight Display is not a school, if customers don`t know the basic knowledge to design circuit boards, we suggest using our controller board to drive the display.

First, you need to check whether this display has On-cell or In-cell touch panel, if has, it only needs to add a cover glass on it. If not, it needs an external touch panel.
(On-cell and In-cell are integrated PCAP touch panels on the display screen)
Because the shape of the cover glass depends on the design of the clients, to avoid infringement of appearance,  most of the developers need different customized touch panels.
Gesight Display can provide a customized touch screen with a low cost of tooling charge.

1. UPS/Fedex/DHL/TNT, the best choice for most clients, 3~7 days to arrive.
2. Aliexpress standard ship, this way is cheap and slow, usually take more than 10 days. Only for samples.
3. For Russian clients, EMS or Aliexpress shipment is better.
4. Any designated logistics are acceptable
 

Most display panels are from giant manufacturers such as BOE, Sharp, LG, EDO, AUO, etc. They have already tested with strict standards.
For OEM products from Panox Display factory, please check the quality test standards.   

The lifetime is different on different images, check the lifetime on datasheet to study it. 

If your Raspberry Pi can support the interface of the display panel, and you know how to program on Raspberry Pi, you can connect to our display.
If you don`t know or don`t want to write a display program on Raspberry Pi, it`s better to get an HDMI controller board from us, and Panox Display will send a config.txt file for reference.

        OLED driver as well as two divided into passive (PMOLED) active (AMOLED), which PMOLED simple structure, each pixel is represented by a separate cathode and anode control, no additional driver circuit, but too much control lines restrict its application of high-resolution large screen; AMOLED entire cathode surface electrode via a drive circuit driving the light emitting anode, significantly reducing the number of control lines, it has a low-power, high-resolution, fast response and other characteristics, AMOLED therefore gradually become the mainstream OLED display.
